So I spent most of the time running around shooting video for a series of promotional commercials for the designers of the showcase rooms, but many brides spent their Sunday checking out trends, designs and wedding vendors at the Domain. There was much to see and eat. Here is a playlist of the different rooms:

SilverTree Videography will be part of the Engaged! in Austin bridal event on January 8, 2012. It will be held in the Westin at the Domain from noon to 6pm. We’ve added the Same-Day Edit we put together for Shirin & Chris who were married March 26, 2011. You can find it in the gallery here: http://www.silvertreeaustin.com/gallery/

A Same-Day Edit is a video that is edited onsite and shown at the reception (yes, we bring an editing computer, screen, and projector). We combine wedding day footage with previously shot bride & groom Q&A to make a video that everyone can enjoy. It’s always the highlight of the reception.

We’ll be at Austin Modern Brides (http://www.austinmodernbride.com/) June 26 & September 25 bridal expos. We’ll be offering discounts only available at the show and would LOVE to have you come out and visit with us.

The June 26 show will be held at Twin Creeks Country Club in Cedar Park, Texas from 12:30-4pm. A fashion show will be held at 3:30 pm.

On September 25 a show will be held at the Lakeway Resort and Spa in Lakeway, Texas.

2011 January Bridal Extravaganza Recap

It was a whirlwind at the Bridal Extravaganza this weekend. If you didn’t make it, you missed lots of walking, lots of free cake and food samples, and a 10% discount off our videography packages! We were also showing this weekend’s NFL playoff games on the flat screen to ease the blow for the guys that made it out. Thanks to all those who stopped by our booth to say ‘Hi’ and ask about our wedding videos. A quick shout out to our cool booth-neighbors and expert wedding planners Elite Weddings and Events for sharing a booth with us, bringing popcorn, and doing a bang-up decorating job.
