We were invited to exhibit at an open house at the recently renovated Crown Plaza Hotel near the intersection of IH-35 & US 290. We met some great vendors as well as some interested brides. Here’s a few photos:
Just received some feedback from Sara & Austin that were married in October 0f last year:
I have already watched the wedding video that you gave me this afternoon and it is wonderful. It let me see a lot of little things I missed on the big day, since I was busy being the bride! Thank you for all of your fine work, it has been a pleasure working with you.

Thanks Sara, we’re glad you enjoyed the video!
As promised in a previous post, here are some photos of our new desk. This is a really big deal for SilverTree. Having a ‘built-in’ provides us with more desk space, something we’ve been wanting for a while! Here is a photo of the installation:
Here is a photo after finishing and the installation of the computers:
Now it’s back to work!
I just ran across this photo of our booth at the January Bridal Extravaganza. I think next year we’ll add a little more color ![]()

I just wanted to share part of a project that I just finished working on. Last month I shot a live concert for Austin Alvarez at La Zona Rosa. It was a great show and a great chance for me to try out some new audio and video recording techniques. Checkout this clip of the song “One Shed Tear” from the concert:
We’ve just revamped our gallery page with streaming flash galleries! This will make it easier for people to see a wider variety of our work. Be sure to check out the new features and let me know what you think!

It’s February already and SilverTree Studios is ready to go for the 2010 wedding season! We’ve changed a few of the prices as well as added a few features over the winter that will really make your video stand out. One thing we’ve added is a Glidecam that allows us to capture very fluid camera movement. It’s a great tool and hopefully we’ll have time to use it in all of our wedding videos this year.
We’re also in the process of making some upgrades to our studio (again) to include a large built-in desk that will really help with our organization as well as aesthetics! Photos will follow.
Austin Wedding Guide’s Bridal Extravaganza will be January 9th & 10th from Noon-5pm at the Palmer Events Center. We’ll be in attendance offering discounts to people who register at our booth so be sure to stop by and say ‘Hi’!
Go to the Austin Wedding Guide’s website for tickets, discounts, and more information: http://www.austinweddings.com/bridex.shtml
Merry Christmas everyone!
We recieved a new letter in the mail from Tiffany & Tanner who were married April 25 here in Austin:
Brian & Joe!The video is fantastic! I couldn’t have asked for more. It captured exactly what our day was like! Especially all the fun! Thank you!
Tiffany
I just ran across this posting on the local FOX TV stations website:
They offer some good ways to scale back the expense of a wedding, but I wouldn’t recommend using your Aunt as a videographer! I’ve seen too many disasters when going that route. See the original article here. I also noticed that the Austin Wedding Blog posted this too! Wow, they are FAST!
